And I'm not just saying that because of the 4 bomb rating (this isn't the same scenario as "American Beauty's" 1 Bomb, where he probably wasn't being serious with his flames). I'm saying that because I saw the movie and have to agree with Cranky's assessment: it wasn't too good! Maybe he's being a little harsh-- like I said in my interview, every Halocaust film will choke you up at the end, but getting there wasn't a pretty picture. There's just a lot problems with this movie, a lot of it melodrama-- see my review if you must know.
And LAJay-- you're right, they were in production at the same time. But "Life is Beautiful" is far superior in almost every way. Once again, see my review below.
Since I posted my review in another forum before Cranky posted his, I almost have to wonder if he stole a line from me, about the Anne Frank-lookalike. But then again, I think anybody could see she was supposed to look like Frank, probably competely on purpose.
