It was a pretty good movie, though it could've been made much better. I like the fact that Jakob was giving hope to his people, especially the end. There were only certian things that cuaght my eye and killed the movie. First off, the gettos were never clean because people would through trash, puke, and even die in the streets. Sometimes there was a little too much humor. After all would you dance and sing a Barney the dinosaur song at gunpoint? I didn't think so! The biggest thing that ruined it was the dumbass ending. It starts out pretty good. The girl is caught again and about to go to Auswich-Birkenau death camp; sobbing her little eyes. She calls for Jakob. The train is pulled over and they're freed by Russians. Then of all things, Swing music is heard and angelic singers appaer singing something sounding like it came from the '20's. The girl pops out her eyes and the screen fades to black showing the credits. What a sucky way to end a drama!
