Like I said, I am in no mood whatsoever to deal with this right now, so I'll try these things later. I'll let you know how it goes (I'll probably try the reinstall first).
Now I don't want to change anti-virus software unless I absolutely have to, but what's so great about Avast, RidingFool? How easy is it to use (bearing in mind that reading your "If you're computer literate, play with the coding" post made me whimper)? And could I even use it? Wouldn't a freelance artist absolutely be using her computer for profit?
