Discuss it privately? Gee, that's not where you made your rude comments in the first place; though it WAS a rather exclusive (at the time) venue even if it didn't require passwords.
Gosh dearie, but I fear my sense of self may not be sufficiently developed to accept your dare. I DO agree with you that life's brevity should be a bar to dealing with those that hold one in such contempt -- at least behind closed doors and raised portcullises. Perhaps you can take comfort to see so many folks going so far out of their way to take offense on your behalf (although that says some pretty hard things about them as well).
