Nuke — Malarky? Well, who knows? At least it’s more substantial and poetically satisfying than angels and harps, or The Big Nothing. Besides, it’s got the weight of the observable world on its side — the universe seems to be all about recycling — we are all just star-stuff & so on — so why not spiritual as well as material?

Theo — Boy, just because •my• historical “what if?” might well have squashed the American Revolution, you have to go messing with what eventually became the non-existent British Constitution.
beer — how many posting names have you got now, oldster? And just think — you could have slipped some money and/or antibiotics to Mozart so he could have been composing miracles into a ripe old age.
Also — think of visting Earth long before humanity came up from the slime or down from the trees. Wading in the shallow lime seas of the Pre-Cambrian Super Continent — perhaps leaving enough DNA in the water to •really• affect history.
