12/23/01: Romancing the...

1) Were guys more romantic in times past? And were women more ready, willing, and able in the past as well?

Nah, it probably just seems like that since everything seems 'romantic' looking back through rose-coloured glasses, doesn't it?

2) Can you name all the films you've seen or heard of that feature a time-travel romance? If you can list more than one please go now and look for a cop on horseback somewhere and lie down under the horse's ass with your mouth open.

Um... does 'Sliding Doors' count? Or what about Bill & Ted?...uh-oh...

3) Ever been in love and thought it was just like the movies or is your idea of love being with someone that bathes and can rock your sexual world?

Yeah, The Buzzcocks are great, aren't they?

4) So are you a closet Meg Ryan fan or a blatant one or do you despise her as a chick that plays the same characters in too many movies? Feel free to name your favorite Meg Ryan roles and/or list off the films she shouldn't have touched even if promised the opportunity to do a blowjob on an Aussie actor.

No closet here; Meg's a babe. She looks fantastic in 'City of Angels'. Yum. However, 'Proof Of Life' was shit.

5) So am I the only one that believes that Hugh Jackman's best performance remains his portrayal of Wolverine in the Xmen?

Perhaps. He was better in 'Erskineville Kings' and 'Paperback Hero'. I've also seen him on stage a couple of times. He's pretty cool.
