"I never said anything rude or offensive towards engineering majors or people from India. I was just stating that they are very brilliant people with a good head on their shoulder -and i respect that about them."
The point is not whether or not you said anything nasty about them, the point is you made a sweeping generalization. For example, I could sit here and tell you that "All Japanese women are great in the sack." Yes, it may be a compliment, but it's still just a stereotype.
I did not accuse you of saying anything offensive, I accused you of sounding ignorant and being dumb. You have yet to prove me wrong.
