Why is it that the "Generation X" film banner is just another way of trying to promote really talky films about aimless and whiny youth who really like to hear themselves gab on endlessly about daily minutia? Tarantino is in the Generation X age group but because his films involve a bunch of aimless and whiny thugs and addicts talking about cheeseburgers while shooting up on heroin and shooting people's heads off his films are not considered Generation X films. Or maybe they're not considered Generation X films because his movies actually make money. So, in a nutshell, this would have been a much more profitable and exciting film if the characters, instead of talking about masturbation, etc., had talked about cheeseburgers and done some heroin. Oh, and shot some people too. AND, don't forget, used a lot of really foul and racist language. But, then, it wouldn't be a Generation X film would it? My God! What a quandary! I'm so confused. I don't know what to do. Think I'll eat a cheeseburger and masturbate.
