It's 6:05 a.m. and I still haven't gone to bed. I guess that makes me one of those Generation X-er people, whoever the hell they are! Not only that but I may very well be losing my mind because I decided to do a 45 minute presentation on the Existentialist attitudes and lifestyles found within this 1 1/2 hour movie. I want to comment to whoever it was in this forum that said this movie "won't change your life or anything." I "watched" this movie and it changed my life, or rather, is changing my life. How can anyone watch this film without coming face to face with the question of our emptiness and laughability? And that final scene in the airport! That was enough to break my heart. And what's wrong with talking about masturbation. I'm in college and that's what we talk about all the time. I wish I could say that the rain forests and the upcoming elections were hot topics but when you go to college you find, ironically, that you know less and less about the outside world. Your world becomes masturbation, alcohol, girls, and looking for the remote control. So Ding that Skippy!
