what is your fondest memory as a kid?
Hell, I dunno. The only thing I can remember (being as it's baseball season) was the Reds going wire-to-wire in 1990 and sweeping the favored Oakland A's in the World Series.
I was 11, 12 at the time, so I gues that counts as "kid"
what was the worst accident you ever got into when you were a kid?
Well, it would probably be the one that involved a person crashing into me from behind. We were playing a game and I was standing around when some kid barreled into me. I stumbled and smacked my head into a pole.
I didn't sustain any serious injuries as a kid.
what did you want to be when you grew up?
Lots of things. Teacher, superhero, computer programmer, writer.
are you that now?
Teacher? No, In gave up on that when I realized I'd have to deal with folks like me :) Superhero? Well...no. Programmer? I'm working on that, though I do work in IT. And I'm an amateur writer.
why/why not?
Teacher I said, superhero is obvious, writer is lack of motive to submit my stuff....and I might be a programmer now, but I took the first IT job I could find. Six months outta school in what was supposed to be a GREAT market. I was sick of working as a cashier.
what kind of kid were you?
(bully/nerd/mischevious/daredevil/ quite type/etc...)
I was a nerd. Still am.....but it's socially acceptable now ;)
what would you tell the adult self if you were to go forward in time to the present as a kid?
I like that other answer: "Don't forget the shit you had to go through to get here."
what would your adult self tell the kid if you were to go back in time to visit yourself?
"Buy Microsoft and Yahoo stock. Tell everyone to take a flying leap. And above all, remember that life is easy when you're ten."
what was your least favorite vegetable?
I liked most vegetables, but I couldn't stand brussels sprouts. Then again, no human being can stand them especially when cooked.
your most favorite food?
Pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs. This I remember vividly, though I still can't remember my login password at work.
your favorite toy?
Tough call. I liked my action figures and my Legos a lot.
how did you discover about the birds and the bees?
Older sibs. It helps when your sister is twelve years older than you are...
when did you stop believeing in the easter bunny/santa clause/tooth fairy/leprechans/the thing in the closet? (you do realize they aren't real, right? except the thing in the closet. it's still there. it just moved under your bed.)
