when they accidentally shot Karen, she panicked and ran. They chased after her to shut her up and, in the adreneline rush of the moment, they killed her. It was not retaliation, just bitchy karma.
You don't deserve to know, though, for leaving your fucking cell phone on in a movie theater. You should be killed for that shit.
