NO! THIS IS NOT A SEXUAL COMPATIBILITY QUESTION!
We have been talking about getting a St. Bernard once we get into our new house that's being built. Slothrop had one as a kid, but he didn't have any other pets in the house at the same time so he can't really answer my question. I have heard that St. Bernhards can snap out of the blue and eat cats. Weimereiners (sp?) are also notorious for this. I know they can be fiercely protective of the family (as a mailman and gas station attendant found out about Slotrhop's dog).
Do you have a cat(s) as well as your dog or have you ever heard of such a thing?
