Why would anyone make anything even close to "middle-age" genre epic films after LOTR? How will anyone come close to that? (arthur coming out too?)
How am I to be impressed with a few thousands hoplites fighting a few thousand swordsmen... ...after seeing hundreds of thousands of orcs and trolls and nazgul attacking the remnants of the glorious Numenoreans led by Gandalf and awaiting Aragorn and Theoden while Frodo and Sam...WELL, YOU GET THE PICTURE! How can TROY or any such flick even hope to compare?
They should wait at least 5 yrs or so before releasing such a movie, so that the LOTR memory has faded.
And yes, Brad Pitt's tough-guy Achilles needs a 'beat-down!'
