I don't know that he's necessarily a great game player, but I think the combination of him not really hiding what he's doing and acting on it make him compelling. Everyone else seems to be letting him control the game, which seems stupid. Why not get rid of the guy who could potentially win the rest of the immunity challenges? It just doesn't seem like the rest of the people are even aware they're playing for a million bucks. As for Lex, who was my favorite player, Rob gutted him game-play wise with that stupid plea. How Lex fell for that I'll never know. Lex had a lot of control that he let slip through his hands. Had he gone into the merge with Ethan and Jerri (neither of whom had any hope of making it through) he would have been in a much stronger position. Though I suppose that once you merge, things do become different. He should have at least kept Jerri.
