Yeah, you're right.
But some people want to work as many extra hours as they can, so it does apply to them.
It also applies to the guy who buys gas on his way to work, and ends up being an hour late for work, and losing an hour's pay.
Baskin Robbins gives out a free scoop of ice cream every year. But I never get it, because the line is just way, way too long.
