Interesting, but slow moving.
When is Chopper going to come out with subtitles in English? Freakin' Auzzie is hard to comprehend.
THAT was Eric Bana? Wow, what a great job he did.
The storyline was disjointed, meandering, and rather pointless. If the movie's intent was showing us what Chopper was like, than it succeeded.
The cinematography in general and especially the violent scenes were done extremely well. The muted tones present in te majority of scenes really made the blood stand out.
Not a great movie, but I'm glad I saw it, and I extend my thanks to the Crankylanders who recommended it.
Don't you wish YOU had a friend like Chopper? You DO??!! Well, do me a favor and don't show up at any Cranky get togethers that I attend, o.k.?
Trivia: Chopper was not named "Chopper" because he carved up his enemies. He was named after the Hanna-Barberra cartoon dog (Yakee Doodle cartoon segment on the Huckleberry Hound show, 1960's). Same as my mother's beagle.
