A resident in the same apartment building we lived in, who we nicknamed PsychoBoy for readily apparent reasons, had this gigantic extended Chevy truck that he outfitted with every ridiculous contraption he could get his hands on. For about four days straight (if I recall correctly) his alarm would go off every 10-15 minutes. It would go through its entire cycle, pause for a couple minutes, and go off again. The REALLY stupid thing was when it went off, the lights didn't flash or anything, so it took some time to figure out which car was doing it. Slothrop complained to about everyone he could and everyone refused to do anything. Eventually, he ended up doing just what Hairhead did... threatened the little fuck.
