10/04/07: Re: Top books people own but haven't read

I'm the other way 'round - I own almost none of these, but I've read a few. Why would you own a book you haven't read? I do have a (very) few books I haven't read all the way through, but it's only because I couldn't get into the book and gave up reading. They're still bookmarked, and I tell myself I'll go back and finish them one day... Anyway, here's what I have read:

Crime and punishment (in High School)

One hundred years of solitude

Wuthering Heights* (HS again)

Brave new world

Frankenstein*

Dracula

The grapes of wrath (HS yet again)

1984 - I actually don't recall if I've read this one or not...

The picture of Dorian Gray*

Les misérables - Er, I saw the musical... does that count?

Cryptonomicon - God was this overrated.

Neverwhere

Slaughterhouse-five

The Hobbit*

(* = I own this one)
