Greedy New Line decides to make a LOTR sequel without Peter Jackson, the only returning cast member is Orlando Bloom. Good vs. Evil is tossed out the door as the film refuses to villainize man, elf, dwarf, troll or orc, the result is a box office flop in the USA that is saved from failure by foreign audiences.
