Remember, the Netherlands are one of the "Low Countries" as in below current sea level. They stay dry via a system of dikes and flood control gates. If enough ice falls into the ocean (and melts) unless the Dutch get up and raise their protection to meet higher sea levels, they'll make post-Katrina New Orleans look like a puddle in the street.
Yes Al Gore used the Netherlands in "An Inconvenient Truth", as well as Florida and lower Manhattan, but I think they'd be the first to see the problem coming.
Not that I care too much about the Dutch.
