Also declared that griffons shall not be eaten, which is a shame considering the great preponderance of griffons roaming the earth. Imagine the size of the omelettes I could make from their eggs! Assuming they lay eggs of course...
Regardless, even if the bit specifically about griffons was translated poorly (11*You may eat all clean birds, 12but the following birds you must not eat: the tawny vulture, the griffon, the osprey, 13the kite and the several kinds of buzzard, 14all kinds of raven, 15the ostrich, the screech owl, the seagull, the several kinds of hawk..." ad infinitum) its still pretty funny. Ain't nobody stopping me from having osprey for dinner!
PS - Whats an osprey?
