I just peeked in for the "other" business. But I saw the title to this thread and, without even reading the responses, have to say it sounds like a damn fine conversation.
Uh, and with that said, uh... my fave cliche is the Tom Cruise and the girl cliche...
You know, how EVERY time Tom falls for a chick, they begin fighting or arguing or something. Then, out of the blue, she says something like "Well, Tom, it's just that I have the hots for you" And she throws him against the wall/bed/motorcycle and SHE kisses HIM!!!!! Then it's off to the bed/pool/hammock with some cool soundtrack top-ten single.
I love that cliche because I just can't wait til that happens to me.
I just can't wait.
