I had been trying to get hold of Phydeaux at his work number for the last few days - I kept leaving messages on his voice mail, but got no replies. Today I called and got a message that the extension I dialed was no longer in use. I held for an operator and learned that he has died. The operator did not know the specifics of his death, but had heard it was some kind of auto accident. I don't have his home number so I could not find out more.
It is sadly ironic that only a few days after meeting someone due to a series of coincendences that this person should die. I did not get to know him well, conversing mostly through email and over the phone twice, but I will miss him. We had so much in common, we could have become very good friends.
Goodbye Phydeaux. I hope that I am wrong and there is another life for you beyond this one.
