.....few kung fu movie fans care about the plot. After all, IT'S A KUNG FU MOVIE!!!
I expect Cranky to be....well....cranky about this film, but I believe that criitcs today are so uptight when it comes to kung fu flims. How many people (and by "people" I mean those with actual lives) do you know actually goes to see a film like "Rumble In the Bronx" expecting an intriguing and powerful storyline? People don't go to karate movies to be DEEPLY MOVED. People go to see these films because (and even critics have to admit this) there is something magical about seeing a guy receiving a roundhouse kick to the groin for no reason whatsoever.
Sincerely, Hey_Hey_Hey (I'm new here!!)
P.S.: I have a question. Does the young girl in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" even know what food looks like??!!
P.P.S.: NO MORE VAN DAMME MOIVIES!!!!!
