This movie is an incoherent mess and I love every second of it! It's one of those Italian horror movies made in the '80s,and you know that means that there's a LOT of blood. For a moment,there's even a plot. Anyway,this weirdo in a metal mask is giving away free movie tickets,and he gives it to two young women.The movie is at the Metropole Theater,this eerie gothic building.Anyway,the movie is some kind of slasher/exploitation flick about idiots who disturb Nostradamus's grave. Then the demons come,and kill somebody. When the moviegoers try and get out,they find that the doors are LOCKED! (Ooooo!) Anyway,most of the lights are out,and people are being picked off and dispatched with zeal by the demons.The people manage to get into the projection booth and find that computers are running the place.There's also a subplot about some drugged-out punks cruising around,who manage to get into the theater. After awhile,there are only two people left alive,and the place is full of dead demonized people. They get on a motorcycle and ride through the theater, killing monsters with a sword that just happened to be lying around. Then a helicopter crashes through the roof, for some reason.At least it's a cool visual. Then the two survivors get onto the roof,where the guy in the metal mask is waiting.They manage to kill him and get onto the street,where some people in a car pick them up.It seems that the whole world has been overrun with demons.Then one of the survivors inexplicably turns into a demon,even though nothing happened to her that would make her so.The other survivor is forced to blow a hole through her head.The end. There's a sequel,though!
