But not this movie. It is a masterpiece.
I understand it's your schtick to pan everything, but this movie is unbelievably beautiful and moving--definitely a masterpiece. (Admittedly, probably not to about 90% of the movie-going public, to which you obviously direct your reviews.) You start goofing on how slow and boring it is; how there's no shoot-em-ups or stuffing dead bodies in cars--so fucking what? Are you goofing on Scorsese's movies or just admitting to a really short attention span? It's definitely slow moving. Is that too much for you? No, it's not your average, or regular, movie. Some other reviewer described it more like a "prayer" than a movie. And I'm surprised you didn't find time to goof on Philip Glass's etherial music. That's pretty boring, too, no doubt....
