Amen to that! I too, believe that LAC was the best movie of the year and the best movie I've seen in decades. The writing was superb, as was the acting, characterizations, look, set design and atmosphere.
Crowe and Pierce were overlooked in the best actor category, Spacey in Best Supporting. Basinger was exquisite and underplayed a part that anyone else would have over-heavied.
Great story, great storytelling.
