This film was just great. Deliberate and moody and acted to perfection. There WERE some truly awful lines in it, but purely on purpose. And Russel Crowe's low-tone, manic voice should have won an Oscar for that alone. The only problem I had with it was that the guy who played Exley - the cop who did everything by the book - is an ex-Australian soap star (or ex-soap Australian star). But hasn't he done well. Zent.
