Not sure if it's a real word or not. Been hearing and using it for over 30 years. First time I ever heard it, it sort of tumbled off the Drill Instructor's lips, "unass that bunk, fuckhead. Assume the position and give me 50."
Those DIs just never accepted the notion of a good night's sleep producing a more alert and active soldier.
