10/26/00: I had been looking forward to this movie,

until I saw the trailer. Just in the trailer, Charlize Theron's acting looked really quite bad. And the whole movie looked like it had that golden fairy dust glow that RR lately seems to like to sprinkle his movies with. Makes 'em all sticky sweet.

So really, how bad is it?
