ok ok, so, i yet, again, forced myself to watch another "piece" by m. night (which is fake) shanananananana. why do i do this? i don't know. thinking about it now just makes me wonder why i didn't spend my hard earned money on a bottle of liquor and drink my self in to a state of horrid inibriation including dancing naked on a police car...which would have been more entertaining.
lady in the water (which i won't even give the proper grammatical punctuation because it sucked so much) was nothing but the script that the editors of "splash" refused to even read. it was like our "director" was watching "the village" and "splash" at the same time and was inspired to write an even worse film.
the story itself is actually quite interesting but, i think i would rather have had it come from j.k. rowling, whom is a much better visualist than mr. shanananananana.
mr. shananananana'a characters are boring and lifeless...throughout his movies you waste time at the wrong points. when you should be gaining insight on the characters our "director" is trying to move the "plot" whatever that may be, and when the plot should be presenting itself you're waist deep in the character's inner lives as if you care at the moment.
to be dreadfully honest, i think mr. shananananananana is trying to taunt the writers of mystery science theater 3000 to come out of their current projects and bring back the show just make fun of his movies. but, i think that those fellows, micheal j. nelson, joel hodgsen, mary jo pehl, kevin murphy, brian corbett, etc. would agree with me that it would justify mr. shananananana's actions and encourage him to continue to produce even more crap.
in closing....the movie fucking blows!!!!
