The 1950 version was a screamingly funny black comedy about a dear old soul who inadvertvently destroys a gang of bank robbers, and collars the loot herself.
Why and how anyone thought they could improve on this formula is a mystery indeed.
Don't bother with this latest offering - go to your video store and hire/buy the original. Take it home, insert in the player, and prepare to laugh.
