People think it's funny not because they see it rarely in movies, but because they see it rarely in real life. I mean, how much fun would horror movies be if you saw people's heads being cut off and your friends cut open their parents stomachs with dull razor blades on a regular basis? Hell, I think old people cursing in movies is sophomoric and uninventive, but I'm not a producer so we'll jsut have to deal with it for now.
