How far did you get?
I'm up to level 6 - raid on TCTF HQ, and I'm getting my tail kicked all the hell over the place. I've had to continue, on average, about three or four times a level, sometimes much more. And this is the EASY setting. Either I'm doing something wrong, or this game is just hard as hell.
The texture sure do suck, though. I have to pull all the shades just to see. The levels are huge, though. Having just been through the airport I'm gratified by the sheer size of the maps and how far off into the distance things are rendered. I'm getting to be a pretty good sniper with the plasma rifle.
I don't mind the "run around, fight, pull switch" architecture of the game. I'm finding it plenty challenging (maybe too much) as is. Definitely not bored.
