I believe that it if Mr. Cranky made a movie, this is what it would be. It has been proven time and again that when critics decide to practice the form that they critcise, it ends up being a self indulgent mess (perfect example: Roger Ebert's Beyond the Valley of the Dolls). Now since Mr. Cranky seems to find gratification in belittleing any piece of celluloid he can get his hands on, it would follow that he would enjoy creating the most gawd awful theater experience possible. I.E. Cranky heaven. Either that, or the radiation from the nuke he dropped on I am Sam last week has really messed up with his brain.
