You know, you're probably right. Whenever I'm at the club I work in, a lot of the people want to hear the more popular or crossover rap like; Mo-money, mo-problems - Doin' it - Men in Black and Gettin' jiggy with it - California Love. Some hardcore rap fans may not even consider that rap, I really don't know. It's just like some hardcore metal fans who loved Metallica never thought of a group like White Lion as the same genre (sp?) of music.

I guess when you play the music just so people will go out and dance, you kind of feel numb to the what the SONG may be saying. The popular stuff I can live with, (Let me clear my throat - DJ Kool - absolutely kicks ass!) it's the other stuff I don't care for. What are some tunes that could enlighten me and maybe change my overall opinion about rap?

Thanks,

ICE
