Anyone who says "disco sucks" is a close minded fool that has no life. Disco music back then (76 to 79) and even today (dance/house/club/techno/electronica) is some of the most played music at almost any nightclub on any weekend in the USA. Go to a dance/disco club where they play the music (even back in the 70's) and what did they play? DISCO. What music did women love then (and even these days)? DISCO.
Even these days, when I attend a wedding or just about any other type of function, what do I hear the DJ's playing to keep the people dancing? DISCO. Geeez.. kinda funny how there are more "jamn oldies, disco classics" on the FM radio band THESE days than there ever has been (except for back in the late 70's when it was huge). Disco must really suck then.. or maybe the idiots that said that all these years were just.. well, idiots. Typical rock & roll, heavy metal, drugged out hillbillies more than likely contributed to that "classic idiot expression". The only thing that really sucks is the people who said "Disco sucks".
