I'm a pretty big Phillip K. Dick fan, and I have no faith in Hollywood's adaptations of his films. If I had to choose between sitting through one or the other, I'd probably get a really big headache and drink a lot. John Woo is no Ridley Scott, he is definitly the wrong guy to pick to direct and adaptation from an author as subtle as Phillip K. Dick. That's like having Ron Howard do the Shining. Ugh, I'm getting sick just thinking about it.
On another PKD note, I hope they get around to using Charlie Kaufman's script of "A Scanner Darkly". I read the first couple of pages that are up on his website and they seem to have the same tone and feel as the book. Kaufman is a guy who could pull off a book like that, which also happens to be my favorite PKD book.
