...I had my "important" classes and my "not so important" classes. Even without consciously making a decision about which classes fell into which category, the classes had a way of making that decision for me. Typically, the classes that were the core of my major got the most attention and the "carry over from high school" classes, such as English, squatted in the "not so important" category.
That's not to say that I condone plagarism but I understand the need for it sometimes. Especially in a college environment where a student may have to make choices between which final projects get the utmost attention and which finals are simply called in...
