On rotten tomatoes, it has 2 fresh reviews. One review isn't available, but the other from "The Hollywood Reporter" seems rather lukewarm. Worst, it compares it to "The English Patient" in terms of who should like it. I think this means that most of crankyland will hate it. See, "The Talented Mr. Ripley" was good despite Minghella, I think. There wasn't a laboured romance at the center of it, inless you consider Damon-Law to qualify.
