Who gives a rat's ass what a bunch of sportswriters think? I like the way that the BCS uses real world stats to determine which team is actually the best. The BCS ranking is not influenced by raw emotions and takes in to account performance across the whole season. Definitely the Vulcan way.
Besides, any system that sends OU to a chanpionship game and leaves USC playing in the Who Gives a Rat's Ass Bowl can't be all bad.
