I heard the samurai didnt go extinct, they just started making kitchen knives that are super sharp cause they got nothing else to do, but they can make super sharp kitchen knives....
or is it the ninja... they can't go extinct cause you never know where a ninja is and besides they dont kill themselves everytime they screw up like the samurais...
