There's a Weatherman here in Phoenix who's name is "Sean McLaughlin" and he pronounces his first name as "Seen".
But then, he's got 2 other brothers names "Sean". No I'm not kidding, one pronounces it as "Shawn" dunno 'bout the other brother.
I asked an email bud of mine who lived in Dublin about the "Shawn-Seen" thing. Weatherman says "Seen" is traditional irish, but Email bud says that's a crock of shite <G>.
