a necessary evil, there are PLENTY of experiemnts on animals that are not "necessary", that in no way make humans' lives better.
I guess I can accept experiements performed for some medical purpose - but what about the cosmetics industry? Is my life really "better" because a thousand rabbits had shampoo dumped into their eyes, all in order to prove the shocking notion that people shouldn't do that?
I haven't seen this movie, so I don't know what "Bruiser's Bill" entails - whether it states all experimenting on animals must cease, or just the non-medical tests. . . but I don't think it's stupid, and I don't think Elle Woods is a stupid character - just annoyingly perky.
