Dynamite is too kind. I would even say that some life can escape the awesome power of the "nuke". I suggest an even more powerful rating: The Charles Herman-Wurmfeld category. "Wurmfeld" for short. Just say "Wurmmmmfeld" Do you sense the terrible power of the dark side? The "worm hole" of filmdom. This guy couldn't direct one way traffic. If you really want to see how bad this film is, rent the DVD and see his interview along with the deleted scenes and all the other hilarious reasons to see this film. And poor Sally Fields...she attempts to defend the film and the people involved. What was she thinking? Do you smell something here? Ohhhh...it's only the script. I hope the state of Mass. doesn't decide to rally around Elle's cause for gay dogs, because the we'd definitely see more of Wurmmmfeld film making. Maybe he should marry a dog? Thank god I didn't pay theater money to see this piece of crap.
