THIS IS A CROCK OF SHIT.
A few more lawyers looking to get richer, under the guise of "repairing" the damage slavery has done to the African-American community. As if that were possible.
Their goal is to educate? Really? Why, in case we decide to institute our peculiar institution again? I believe most children in the United States, at one time or another, study the Civil War and, consequently, slavery in the US. What purpose does it serve to horrify them even more than we already do? Anyone that hasn't seen it or heard it already doesn't WANT to, and that means they'll never will. Personally, I feel that the minority that gets the shaft come educatin'-time is Native Americans. Millions slaughtered, where are their reparations? Oh, wait, I get it - There aren't enough Native Americans left to bother.
Make no mistake, folks, this is not about "repairing" the damage done. It's all about money.
And it makes me fucking sick.
