I think the writer of this article can be labeled as a blatant critic. For one, the reason why jacky is named someone else in the show is not cos a new imaginary character was created. rather, there is someone who really exists by the name of wang feu hung, who is supposed to be a legendary character in the chinese martial arts world and not "an apparent champion of the poor as well as being the originator of many martial arts styles"
If one wants to say the following, "Now, not only are we encouraging young kids to go out and beat the crap out of each other, we're telling them it would be better if they got soused before they did it", I think U.S. would be better off getting rid of every single violent show on earth just so as "prevent kids from getting the wrong influences"
