After reading crankies opinion of this movie before seeing it I thought this cranky guy got off on bringing down the movies for having not a bad day but a bad life ,however after seeing this "movie" it seems that Jim Carrey's career is now in its death throws and should be put to rest (mercy killing) due to his typical over re-acting and give our sanity a break.The only actor in this "movie" that was tolerable is the nontalking monkey child w/ subtitles clueing us in indirectly that the acting??? , plot??? and redundant WTF is this!!!seems to be in at every turn.Also the so called happy ending, how can it be so happy when everyone you know is dead except the villian and he escapes to track you down (Part 2) and finnish you off.The only good thing was that the small yesterday seats at this theater finnaly put my brain into a nice simulated drug like numbed state so that I could finnish watching this Christmas released film and claim the boasting of been there and watched that.
