I just saw Les Mis on Broadway in Manhattan a couple of months ago. It seems to me that seeing a second rate movie that cast the most popular actors would be anti-climactic. Nothing could top seeing it on the Broadway stage. Jeez, I think I cried about nine times. And if the rumors that there is no Eponine character are true, I refuse to see this movie. She is my favorite character. That song can make anyone cry: football players, bill collectors, even politicians.
