Hmmm. I just signed on to this message board, and am already shaking my head baffled that this is called a "halfway intelligent" forum. Did I stumble into the private page of homicidal moron facist teenagers?? The new generation of bigots is spawning. All hail the future of our deteriorating society! I must assume that "x-files22" has not yet passed the third grade. His little elementary school class must not have gotten to the "World War II' section of their history book yet. Furthermore, only a degenerate child could misspell the words "really" and "happening." Perhaps if this "x-files" fan would turn off the TV and pick up a book instead, he would discover that wonderful things could happen to his mind. This utter and complete lack of historical and grammatical knowledge is unnerving, but let us get back to what we are here for: "Life is Beautiful" was one of the best films of the year. The juxtaposition of Chaplinesque slapstick comedy and shocking war-time horrors was brilliant. It is a story of love and hope that transcends any of the manipulative shlock that Hollywood comes out with week after week.
